General Information

Q: What type of fish will I catch?

Redfish, Spotted Sea Trout, Snook, and Tarpon are the most sought after sportfish in East Central Florida.   A number of others species including Lady Fish, Jack Crevalle, Cobia, Triple Tail, king and Spanish mackerel, Atlantic Bonito, Flounder, Barracuda, and Shark are caught at various times of the year.  What is biting at any particular time depends on a number of factors including season, weather, winds, and tide.

Q: Where in Florida are you located?

The Space Coast and Indian River Lagoon are located in East Central Florida about an hour from the Orlando and Walt Disney area.  If you're flying into Florida, the closest airport with national connections is at Melbourne (MLB).  The closest airport with international connections is the Orlando International (MCO).  Driving directions to the dock are listed below.

Q: Do you guide in Florida year around?

Yes.   Fishing is productive throughout the year in Florida.  Depending on the season, some species are more abundant than others.  Tarpon and Snook are more plentiful during the Spring, Summer, and Fall.  Redfish, Spotted Sea Trout, and many other species can be caught year around.  As a patient and hard working native guide with 25 years experience in East central Florida, I'll do everything possible to make your trip as enjoyable and productive as possible.

Q: What should I bring?

A camera, hat, polarized sunglasses, soft soled shoes suitable for boating (No black soled shoes, Please!), and your favorite picnic lunch.
