Norman and Virginia Pierce are on the water
over 100
days per year. They
are active tournament anglers and outdoor writers and presently write
for twelve Web Sites and five magazines.
In the 2000-2001 season, they will be competing in Bass-N-Bucks
and Anglers Choice circuits and other open events as scheduling permits.
In 1999 and 2000, they finished number one in points on the
Skeeter Boats Pro Team Program and are members of the Skeeter Advisory Board. Although they do not
fish B.A.S.S., they were on hand in Chicago to cover the BASSMASTERS
Classic and the ICAST show. Norman
holds an IGF World Record on 14# line.
Virginia is the only woman to ever receive a scholarship through
the Texas Outdoor Writers Association.
The
Pierces’ primary objective is to draw on a lifetime of skills to
assist manufacturers in the promotion of products and to increase public
awareness of the marine and fishing industries.
They are affiliated with:
Bass-N-Bucks, Anglers Choice, FLW – Everstart, Two of Us Couples,
Operation Bass and the following magazines: Honey
Hole, Freshwater Angler, Texas
Sports Guide, Texas Black Bass
Unlimited and LakeCaster.
Virginia has been a special assignment editor for Honey Hole Magazine since 1984.
The Pierces’ are very involved in youth fishing and promotional
activities year-round.
